Introduction
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website or receiving services from Home Front Pumps. All users of this site and all patients receiving services agree that access to and use of this site and services are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable laws. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site or receive services from Home Front Pumps.These Terms and Conditions outline the policies and standards that govern our relationship with patients and customers. By accepting services or equipment from Home Front Pumps, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Section 1. Patient Authorization and Consent
By engaging with Home Front Pumps, the patient or authorized representative confirms that they have been fully informed about the available treatment options, equipment choices, and provider selection. The patient hereby authorizes Home Front Pumps to provide durable medical equipment, supplies, and related services under the supervision of the patient's prescribing physician. The patient acknowledges understanding the scope of services and the Patient Service Agreement provided by Home Front Pumps.
Section 2. Advance Directives and Healthcare Decisions
Patients retain the right to formulate advance directives in accordance with applicable state law. These directives will be respected and followed by Home Front Pumps staff in the event the patient becomes unable to make medical decisions independently. Patients are encouraged to discuss their healthcare preferences with family members and to document their wishes formally. Home Front Pumps will maintain copies of advance directives in the patient's medical record and ensure all staff members are aware of the patient's stated preferences.
Section 3. Insurance Benefits and Payment Authorization
Home Front Pumps will submit claims to the patient's insurance provider on their behalf. All insurance benefits and payments are assigned directly to Home Front Pumps for services and equipment provided. The patient is responsible for providing accurate insurance information and notifying Home Front Pumps of any changes to coverage within 10 days. Home Front Pumps will work with Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and other payers to maximize coverage. However, the patient remains ultimately responsible for any deductibles, copayments, and non-covered services.
Section 4. Medical Information Release and Authorization
The patient authorizes Home Front Pumps to request, receive, and review medical records from physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers as necessary to provide appropriate care and equipment. The patient also authorizes the release of relevant medical information to insurance companies, payers, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care. This authorization enables Home Front Pumps to verify medical necessity, coordinate care, and process insurance claims efficiently.
Section 5. Patient Financial Responsibility
Except where contrary to federal or state law, the patient is responsible for all charges associated with equipment rental and sale that the patient's insurance company or companies do not pay. The patient is responsible for settlement in full of their account. This includes but is not limited to deductibles, copayments, out-of-pocket maximums, and any services or equipment not covered by insurance.
Section 6. Services and Equipment Provided
Home Front Pumps specializes in the provision of durable medical equipment and related supplies and services. All equipment provided meets FDA regulations and medical device safety standards. Patients will receive written information about the features, benefits, and proper use of all equipment at the time of delivery. Copies of manufacturer warranties and instructions are maintained at our facility and provided to patients upon request.
Section 7. Non-Covered Items and Patient Responsibility
If a patient's insurance plan does not cover a specific item or service, Home Front Pumps will inform the patient of this determination before providing the item. The patient will be offered alternative covered options when available and will be provided with the cost of any non-covered item. By accepting a non-covered item, the patient assumes full financial responsibility for that item. Home Front Pumps will not bill the insurance company for items determined to be non-covered.
Section 8. Product Quality, Repairs, and Warranty
Home Front Pumps stands behind all equipment and supplies provided. We commit to repairing, adjusting, refitting, or replacing any item until both the provider and patient are satisfied with the outcome. Equipment defects are replaced at no cost to the patient or insurance company. In the event of a product recall, patients will be notified immediately and provided with a replacement item within five business days. All equipment is inspected prior to delivery to ensure it is new, clean, and in proper working condition. Manufacturer warranties are honored in full in accordance with state law.All products and materials on this site are included with manufacturer warranties. Home Front Pumps does not accept returns or refund any open or used items. This policy is in place due to health and safety reasons. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, Home Front Pumps disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Home Front Pumps does not represent or warrant that the functions contained on the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or server are free of viruses or other harmful components.
Section 9. Restricted Returns and Restocking
Due to federal and state regulations governing medical equipment and supplies, certain items cannot be returned for credit or restocked. This includes items that have been used or items classified as ancillary supplies under pharmacy regulations. Sale items and clearance merchandise are also non-returnable. Patients will be informed of return restrictions at the time of purchase. Home Front Pumps does not accept the returns or refund any open or used items due to health and safety reasons.
Section 10. Communication Preferences and Contact Consent
By accepting these terms, the patient consents to receive communications from Home Front Pumps via telephone, text message, email, or postal mail regarding orders, services, billing, and account information. Patients may receive calls using automated dialing technology, and standard carrier charges may apply to text messages. Patients may opt out of specific communication methods by contacting our office. Please note that email communications are not encrypted and may pose privacy risks; more secure communication methods such as telephone or postal mail are available upon request.
Section 11. Protection of Minors
Home Front Pumps does not provide services to individuals under 18 years of age. Patients must be at least 18 years old to create an account, provide personal information, or place orders. Parents or legal guardians may authorize services on behalf of minor patients, but the adult responsible party assumes all financial and legal obligations.
Section 12. Compliance with Federal Supplier Standards
Home Front Pumps operates in full compliance with federal DMEPOS supplier standards as outlined in 42 Code of Federal Regulations Section 424.57(c). These standards address business practices, operational requirements, warranty obligations, and hours of operation. The complete text of these standards is available at http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov. Patients may request a written copy of these standards at any time.
Section 13. After-Hours Support and Emergency Access
Home Front Pumps maintains a voicemail system for after-hours inquiries. Patients can reach our office at 704-286-9918, and all messages will be returned during the next business day. For life-threatening medical emergencies, patients should contact local emergency services (911 ) immediately rather than attempting to reach Home Front Pumps. Our after-hours system is provided as a courtesy and is not intended for emergency situations.
Section 14. Patient Grievance and Complaint Resolution
Home Front Pumps values patient feedback and maintains a formal process for addressing complaints and grievances. Patients may file complaints without fear of retaliation, discrimination, or interruption of service. Complaints can be submitted verbally or in writing to any Home Front Pumps staff member.Complaint Resolution Process:Upon receiving a complaint, our Customer Service team will:1.Contact the patient within five business days to acknowledge the complaint and gather additional information2.Investigate the concern by speaking with relevant staff members and reviewing documentation3.Provide the patient with a status update within two business days of receiving the complaint4.Forward complaint details to our Compliance Department for formal documentation5.If the issue remains unresolved, escalate to a department supervisor who will contact the patient within five business days6.Provide written notification of the investigation results and resolution within 14 daysPatients also have the right to file complaints with regulatory agencies, Medicare, or our accreditation organization. All complaints are documented and reviewed as part of our ongoing quality improvement program.
Section 15. Confidentiality and Privacy Protection
Home Front Pumps is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all patient information. We comply fully with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and only release patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and with proper authorization. All staff members receive annual HIPAA training to ensure understanding of privacy requirements.Patient records are stored securely in locked, fireproof cabinets at our facility. Electronic records are backed up regularly and stored off-site. Clinical staff access patient records only when necessary to provide care or process services. When patient information must be disposed of, it is shredded by qualified personnel or a professional shredding company. Business associate agreements are in place with all vendors who handle patient information to ensure they maintain the same privacy standards.
Section 16. Patient Rights
Home Front Pumps recognizes and respects the following patient rights:•The right to receive respectful, dignified treatment from all staff members•The right to be fully informed about treatment options, equipment choices, and associated costs•The right to choose their healthcare providers and equipment suppliers•The right to receive appropriate care in accordance with physician orders•The right to timely responses to questions and service requests•The right to be served only when Home Front Pumps has the capability to provide safe, professional care•The right to continuity of care and notification of any changes to the care plan•The right to informed consent before any treatment or procedure begins•The right to refuse treatment and understand the consequences of that decision•The right to voice concerns and grievances without fear of retaliation•The right to know what to do in case of emergency
Section 17. Emergency Preparedness and Continuity of Care
Home Front Pumps maintains an emergency preparedness plan to ensure continuity of care during natural disasters or other emergencies. In the event our facility becomes temporarily unable to operate, management will contact all staff and patients to provide information about alternate service locations. Priority will be given to patients requiring life-sustaining equipment such as oxygen. If Home Front Pumps cannot maintain or repair life-sustaining equipment, patients will be referred to an alternative qualified supplier. Patients will receive emergency contact information and procedures at the time of service initiation.
Section 18. Patient Education and Training
All patients receive comprehensive education and training on the proper use, maintenance, and care of equipment provided by Home Front Pumps. Training is provided at the time of delivery and tailored to the patient's learning needs, abilities, and language preferences. Written instructions and manufacturer information are provided for all equipment. For patients receiving specialized services such as enteral nutrition, detailed education on administration techniques, site care, and equipment maintenance is provided and documented in the patient's clinical record. Patients may request additional training or clarification at any time.
Section 19. Intellectual Property Rights
The entire content included in this site, including but not limited to text, graphics, and code, is copyrighted as a collective work under the United States and other copyright laws and is the property of Arla Medical, LLC. Permission is granted to electronically copy and print hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Home Front Pumps or purchasing Home Front Pumps products. You may display and download or print portions of the material from the site solely for your own non-commercial use or to place an order or purchase products. Any other use, including but not limited to reproduction, distribution, display, or transmission of the content of this site is strictly prohibited unless authorized by Home Front Pumps. You further agree not to change or delete any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the site.All trademarks, service marks, and trade names used on this site are trademarks or registered trademarks of Home Front Pumps or its parent company, Arla Medical, LLC.
Section 20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to choice of law provisions. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site or the services provided shall be in the state or federal courts located in Florida. Any cause of action or claim with respect to this site or services must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.
Section 21. Limitation of Liability
Home Front Pumps shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Home Front Pumps has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Section 22. Typographical Errors
In the event that a Home Front Pumps product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Home Front Pumps reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. Home Front Pumps reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Home Front Pumps shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Section 23. Term and Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Home Front Pumps without notice at any time for any reason. The provisions relating to Intellectual Property Rights, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Miscellaneous shall survive any termination.

Home Front Pumps may deliver notice to you by means of email, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to Home Front Pumps.
Section 25. Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via email or chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including Home Front Pumps staff or other licensed employees, is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable. You may not upload commercial content on the site or use the site to solicit others to join or become members of any other commercial online service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Home Front Pumps, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account by you or any other person accessing the site using your account.

Home Front Pumps may link to sites operated by third parties. However, Home Front Pumps has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices independent of Home Front Pumps. These linked sites are provided for your convenience and you access them at your own risk. Home Front Pumps seeks to protect the integrity of its website and requests feedback on any linked sites that may not be functioning properly.
Section 28. Prescription Cost Coverage
Home Front Pumps covers the $7 MDI (Metered Dose Inhaler) fee associated with any required prescription costs if necessary.
